This policy explains what data UCardCrypto.com collects when you visit, why we collect it, and how it’s handled. We’ve written it to be readable — not to bury things in legal boilerplate.

What We Collect
Data you give us directly
If you use our contact form, we collect your name and email address. We use this only to respond to your message. We don’t add you to any mailing list without your explicit opt-in.
Data collected automatically
When you visit UCardCrypto.com, standard web server logs and analytics tools record:
- Your IP address (anonymised where possible)
- Browser type and device
- Pages visited and time on site
- Referring URL (where you came from)
This data is aggregated and used to understand how the site is used, not to identify individual visitors.
Affiliate tracking
If you click an affiliate link on UCardCrypto.com and visit a card provider’s site, that provider may set their own tracking cookies to attribute the referral. This happens on their domain, under their privacy policy — not ours. We receive commission data in aggregate form only (e.g. number of sign-ups, not individual identities).
Cookies
We use cookies for two purposes:
Analytics. UCardCrypto.com uses Google Analytics to track page views, session duration, and traffic sources. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. You can opt out via Google’s opt-out tool or a browser extension.
Performance and security. The site runs behind Cloudflare, which may set cookies for security, bot detection, and caching. These are functional and do not track browsing behaviour across other sites.
We do not run advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking scripts.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies won’t stop you from reading content on this site, though some features (such as remembering preferences) may not work.
Apply & Earn and My UCard. When you use Apply & Earn we keep an application record: your email address, the card you applied for, where on our site you started (a source label), the status of the application and the times things happened (created, provider visited, reported, reviewed, paid), the outcome you report and any feedback you leave. To verify a registration for a reward we may also ask for the user ID and the email you registered with at the provider; we store those in plain text so a reviewer can match them, and show the email masked everywhere except the review screen. We record your browser’s time zone and language and, if you tell us, the date you registered — these help us match a registration. We store your connection’s IP address and a device identifier only as salted hashes, never in the clear. A country code is stored only if our hosting adds one to the request. Reward wallet addresses are stored encrypted; a keyed hash of the address is kept to detect the same wallet on more than one application. A UCard account (My UCard) is an ordinary WordPress subscriber account with an opaque login and no password: it signs in through emailed links. Referrals are stored as the link between the referrer’s account and the referred application. Every review action and every time a reviewer views a wallet is written to an audit log.
Cookies we set for this. ucc_apply_device (1 year, first-party, HttpOnly) — a random device identifier we keep hashed, used to spot duplicate registrations and self-referrals. ucc_apply_ref (30 days, HttpOnly) — set when you arrive through a referral link, so the application you create can be attributed to the friend who referred you; it holds a keyed hash, not the code. ucc_apply_tz (1 year) — your browser’s time zone name, set by our script, used to show dates on your own calendar. ucc_apply_g_… (one per application, at most a few hours, HttpOnly) — set when you open a link from one of our emails, so the pages that follow can show that application without the link’s token ever appearing in a page address; it is cleared when the step completes. The standard WordPress sign-in cookies (wordpress_logged_in_…, wordpress_sec_…, 14 days) are set while you are signed in to My UCard. None of these is used for advertising.
Your choices. Delete my account in My UCard → Profile removes your personal details from every application (email, wallet addresses, provider details, feedback text, browser details), deletes the account and its wallets, and keeps the anonymised application record; rewards already sent are unaffected. Applications that are not claimed within 30 days expire. To change a stored wallet, or to ask about your data, write to hello@ucardcrypto.com.

Card providers linked from our site operate independently. We are not responsible for how they handle your data once you leave UCardCrypto.com.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond and resolve your query, then deleted. Analytics data is retained under Google Analytics’ default retention settings (up to 14 months). Server logs are managed by Hostinger under their standard retention policy.
Children
UCardCrypto.com is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted personal data through this site, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We’ll update this page if our data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Significant changes will be noted in a brief summary at the top of the page.
